Hua Wu, PhD
Hua Wu, PhD, serves as the Senior Vice President of Product Development at SAB, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in the biopharma industry. Since 2014, she has held senior leadership roles at SAB, including Senior Vice President of Research and Product Development. In her current role, Dr. Wu oversees the development and evaluation of fully human therapeutic antibodies derived from Tc bovine. She also leads the pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity evaluations for preclinical studies and clinical trials. Prior to joining SAB, Dr. Wu held the leadership positions in our predecessor organizations, including Executive Director at Hematech, a subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kirin, where she led numerous projects focused on developing Tc bovine-derived fully human therapeutic antibodies for treating cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Wu earned her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and completed her postdoctoral research in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School.
